HUNTING

Outdoor Realities will also have stand sites set up for deer hunting.  If you are looking to harvest a buck, flexibility in your schedule will increase your odds.  When I have a mature buck working the area and I have him on a trail camera, I will go through my list of hunters and it will be on a first come, first serve basis.  There will be a daily charge plus a trophy fee depending on the size of the buck harvested.  The daily fee of $50.00 will change whether the buck is harvested or not.  There will be a $300.00 charge if a deer is wounded or missed. I will be sitting in an observation stand watching the hunt unfold.  We owe it to the deer to practice our hunting skills.  I will also have stands set up strictly for doe harvests.  Doe hunts are the only deer hunts that will be guaranteed.  There will be a fee of $250.00 per harvest or shot opportunity.  If neither arises, the fee will only be $125.00.  Any other situations will be discussed with your guide, Enzo, prior to the hunt.

Outdoor Realities can also create other hunting opportunities.  If you like to hunt small game such as pheasants, rabbits or squirrels, I have hundreds of acres of private land to pursue these animals.  If you want to experience predator calling for coyote and fox, I have the ability and property to put customers on these predators.  If customers have problems on their own properties with coyotes or foxes, I can give them a hand in controlling their population.  Please contact Enzo to discuss whatever quarry you choose to pursue along with dates, times, methods and fees.

Turkey hunting with Outdoor Realities in the 2005 season was as good as it gets.  Out of 15 hunters, we had 13 harvests and 45 different long beards called in.  One of the birds tipped the scales at 28 pounds and another double beard having a combined measurement of 19 inches.  If you want guaranteed action, Outdoor Realities is the way to go!  In 2004, I assisted Walter Parrot, a “9 time world champion turkey caller”, in harvesting his first Michigan turkey.  The hunt lasted only 2 hours.  In 2005, I teamed up with Gabe VanWormer with the MUCC Michigan Out-of-Door TV program.  In sleet, snow and rain, Gabe put an awesome shot on a mature turkey with 1 3/8 spurs at 35 yards.

There will be a guaranteed shot opportunity for turkey.  A hunter busted by a bird moving will be considered a shot opportunity.  Otherwise, half of your hunt will be refunded.  If a smaller bird is passed up, it will also be considered a shot opportunity.  A deposit will be necessary to hold a spot.  If you draw a different season, your date will be moved in conjunction with your season.  Let’s go fire up these turkeys and create some priceless memories!!
